So I offically gave up trying to do the g16b loom mods because I cannot find a single wiring diagram (of the 9 variants i've looked at) that actually matches my vitara loom. Anyone got contact details for this bloke: http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/killalux?_tr ... 7675.l2559 I've sent him a couple ebay messages but got crickets in reply Or contact details for someone who might be able to do my loom for me (pref in Australia, also pref a workshop or someone with a reputation) thanks in advance |

I should probably mention that I ripped the vitara intake manifold off and put a g13bb one on, but i just changed the sensors over from the vit mani. |

Because you are using the g13bb manifold plugs and sensors it wont line up with the length of the cabling and bundled loom. As its on the other side of the intake now. Also depends where your afm goes. so you would have to modify one done by someone else anyway. Where in Ballarat are you? I can have a look at things for you, if you want to keep trying |

You have an early g16b loom This will be helpful http://www.suzukiinfo.com/vitara/vitara ... 1_mpfi.pdf This is the bare minimum of what you need to run http://www.suzukiinfo.com/vitara/wiring ... g16a-b.pdf The german variant will be quite close, I had a few wires different, but if you trace it all and work it all out its pretty easy http://www.suzukiinfo.com/vitara/vitara ... iagram.pdf There's a lot of links here http://www.suzukiinfo.com/ Its easy to strip the sierra and vit looms back, work out what you need and what you dont. You already have it unbundled, so start labelling and stripping out the excess. Hardest part is getting the routing, lengths and bundling correct etc (especially if things change later) Its advisable to keep joins and sections you have messed with in the one easy to locate and access spot. I prefer the plug at sierra loom behind the glovebox. Also ideal spot to mount the ecu |
