Quick history then the problem. Bought a 2000 GV from my lad, aircon barely operating. Had Ultratune in Adelaide regas it during a hot trip, then later that day, no cooling. Went back the following with heavy load on motor as if the compressor is dead heading. The system heats pretty quickly, then cuts out which I assume is down to the pressure switch tripping the system. I'm 400 k's from Ultratune so getting them to have a look is out and I have no faith in the local mob. As such, I bought a guage set on fleabay to check pressures, and guess what? Wrong fittings, don't fit the Zook system. Anyone know what adaptor fittings I need to attach to the Zook high and low pressure take-offs? I'm assuming the guys at Ultratune may have over pressurised the system, or maybe the TX valve is failing. Oddly, the A/C works well in cooler weather. The new condenser looks fine, and the thermo fan runs as expected. Regards, Weelz.

If the system is running R134a gas then the fittings are standard. If it's running the old R12 gas (shouldn't be) then the fittings are different
