I have diif oil all over the LF rim so Im assuming its the axel seal, do I need to strip the whole steering knuckle and hub or can I remove the axel and hub whole and just replace the seal?

no need to pull the hub apart.

just unbolt the knuckle from the hub.
4 bolts behind disk rotor and the hub comes off along with the CV and Axle all connected

buy a tub of grease and prepare to get dirty

also i recommend you replace the scraper seal and felts while your at it

Cheers qwerty123,.....the knuckle seals and felt have just been done recently (before I bought the vehicle) Im guessing the previous owner didn't do the axle seal while he was at it unfortunately.

Im thinking I might as well do the lot and get it over and done with.
