Hi all, Im looking at buying this soft top vitara, and i really like it. However its the G16A carby engine, and i would really like the G16B better. Whats the difference between the engine's? Is it just a matter of swapping over the head and adding a loom, or is dumping a G16B engine in it the go? Whats invloved in the process? What do i need to get? Obviously if its an engine swap ill need the whole engine, ecu and loom. However what else differs? Will anything be out compared to the G16A (eg speedo?) And finally would i have to change anything else over? Like fuel pumps or air boxes? Sorry for all the questions haha Cheers |

It would be easier to start with a g16b engined vitara Making a g16a to g16b requires new pistons and 16v head. g16b Loom, ecu, intake, airbox, cluster for vss efi fuel tank efi fuel filter efi fuel hoses where needed G16b extractors/manifold Thats all i can think of atm |
