Post subject:  digital clock wiring

ive just wired up a digital clock but its on all the time.i need a diagram or help to wire it to accessories or ignition I don't know to use accessories or ignition which one is best..the digital clock has 2 wires red and black.thanks

Wire it to accessories. Also, you don't really need a wiring diagram. Do you have a multimeter or a test light? Just find the nearest ACC wire and tap in to that.

If the clock has only two wires, you'll have to leave it on all the time - unless - you plan on setting it every time you turn the key to on.

just grab the pos from the ciggy lighter for the acc signal, if it has one

since the clock only has 2 wires .wiring into accessories the clock ` will have to be set every time the accessories is on.is that right .thanks

correct. i doubt these clocks pull much power though...
