Hi guys I bought a 92 sierra off a farm for 500 bucks which didnt go. Ive pulled tge tank out and cleaned it changed the filters and pulled down the carbie and cleaned it all out Every thing was full of rusty dirty crap. Anyways got it started and it coffs and splutters amd hunts below about 1500 rpm. Ive cleaned the plugs too with a wire brush no help. Any ideas ? I was considering doing a motor swap seeing as this one has issues Need to do a clutch anyways. |

My guess is there's still rubbish in the fuel system. Won't take much to clog a jet. No need to do an engine swap if the motor is in otherwise decent condition. Steve. |

Ive put an extra filter in before the carby. And its caught a bit of stuff too. The carby should be clean I just put it all back in yesterday.Anyone know where I can get a workshop manual from? People have stuffed around with it too that way I can check the mixture screws and stuff too. |
