Post subject:  Fitting ABS sensors to 413 axles

All these threads on abs sensors are inspiring me to finish off the traction control on my 4wd .
I think I have the rear axle sorted by just making a ring , much like the factory rear ring , and fitting it to the rear axle and poking the sensor into the diff housing . However the front is a little harder . Has anyone put a gv or jimny hub on a 413 spindle ? Guess that would be the easiest way . Other than that I would have to try and fit a abs ring from one of them to the 413 hub or make a new ring from scratch . Either way just swapping a gv or jimny hub would be better . So thought I would ask before I go and find hubs to try . Sure I have read about it somewhere , maybe in the full floating threads .

Thanks
Chris

your gonna struggle.

firstly the hub on the sierra is far deeperthan the jimny or the vitara one as is the spindle. about 15-20 longer from memory.

secondly the circular step the sits inside the knuckle on a sierra is 10mm smaller (80mm) than the vitara.

you might get away with a jimny one complete as I think they are 80mm. however there will be no place to mount the abs sensor on the sierra knuckle,
the cvs will also need cutting down as jimny ones are shorter than sierra.
