hi does anyone know if Australian jimnys ever had the indicators in the corner lights and bot in the rear bumper bar i want to convert my jimny to this style

No they didn't as the lights don't meet ADR's in that position with a spare wheel fitted. You'd need to order the appropriate lights from Japan (or another country like the UK)

Obviously, with the spare in the standard position the car will now be illegal as the spare will mask the lights from an oblique angle. Hardly a show stopper, but if a cluey member of the po po picked it, it might lead to hassles to clear a defect should you have other mods.

Just noticed that Kirkynut's car (UK) has taillights in the rear bumper too, so it looks like you need to deal through japan.

there's a jimny in the rigs section where one of the guys used the wiring harness from a newer model jimny on the rear tail lights & managed to get his brake lights up the top. can't remember what you'd need to search though, but it's only a part solution.

sorry mate, no idea, like i said it's in someone's rig thread, you could try some searches on here, he said something like 'never have too many brake lights' or similar.
