You dont seem to be able to find them anymore but the old school honda accords , early 80's , were an excellent fit . Wider than a sierra and not to deep , the good bit was they had the right size connections and they were in the correct place . Also they had a temp switch in them which was handy for elec fans . Kept my CA18de cool . Allas useless info now Chris |

I had one of the ebay sellers make me up a 500x500x76mm alloy core with both outlets positioned on the drivers side to suit g13b. It cools brilliantly, almost excessively. This was the biggest size I could comfortably fit with power steering and a 2" body lift. They still list them from time to time, keep an eye out. |

I hd one made for me by Just Aluminium Radiators, JAR, his work is brilliant, cannot recomend high enuf. I made a bigger one, an had to remodel the mounts, but its brilliant, bout twice the stock size, only running a thermo fan, hardly ever comes on, only in the very harshest of conditions. I spoke to him about getting it made, told him no rush as I was in parts collecting mode for the build, he said, no drama, this is garenteed to keep your engine cool or send it back, and when you do the build, let me know, thats when we will start warranty. I was pretty stoked. |

I had an aftermarket Honda civic alloy radiator for a while, didn't really do the job with the 12A Rotary. Changed it to a ebay mustang alloy one which just fits around the vitara box with some clearancing. Top pipe is reasonable size (30 something mm) on the Drivers side, bottom one is passengers side over 45mm. Cools well. with thermo running off Baleno computer, bonnet open it only comes on briefly every 5-7 minutes. Does not come on moving. The Baleno gauge just sits in the centre, does not move once it reaches normal temp. The hardest part was getting the actual dimensions from the seller, they kept asking what kind of mustang I had. |
