Hey guys,
I want to check my rear dif oil level.
Can anyone tell me what size square socket I need to buy that will fit.
I have a multi point tool but cannot get enough pull on it to undo it.
Looks like I will need the correct socket and breaker bar.
Also is the a gasket on the filler plug and if so what size as I want to get the bits I need while I am in town tomorrow
Thanks in advance
Garry

Pretty sure it's 10mm , I've allways used a 3/8 socket wrench but it is dodgy and you need to be carful not to round it out.

10mm square. Most people use a 3/8th socket but in saying that, most diff plugs are flogged out as a result.

You can buy the tools on ebay, although mine came as part of a diff and gearbox plug socket set which is a handy thing to have in the shed anyway.
