Post subject:  Wiring a Tacho, G16b to a Maruti
How do I wire G16b Injected Vitara Motor to Maruti/NT Dash cluster with Tacho?
What wire off the Dizzy? Am assuming signal comes from the Dizzy.
Any help appreciated

it should already have a wire running to the dash plug in the maruti wiring harness, its just not used by the dash cluster. its just plain brown. i just tapped into that for my aftermarket tacho

I have the dash sorted, where do I hook up at the dizzy end?

Without seeing the wiring diagram etc but is it not as output from the ecu ? Sure there is a tach signal from the computer .

From ecu or coil
Check pinouts on the ecu

Have Tacho wire from original Sierra Loom to Tacho, (plug on right of Pic), can i take it directly to the Coil loom? (Brown White)

Nah im pretty sure u need to get the tacho output from the ecu
The ecu will need to read the input first. Your still running the baleno dizzy or the vit ?
