My 91 vitara has been leaking oil between head and block but oils not milky any ideas? Or Diy pics or vids

Start with degreasing and cleaning all the oil off first. Then keep an eye on it to find out exactly where it's coming from. If it's the carby 1.6 then they commonly leak from fuel pump and distributor, both could make it look like it's coming from head gasket. I'm not saying it's not head gasket (can get leaks without it 'blowing') but it's a lot of work to find out it wasn't the problem.

My g13bb Jimny had the same thing. Leaked oil where the head meets the block on the exhaust side, used a little coolant but fluids did not mix. I had the head reconditioned (shaved etc) and also bought new head bolts as the weeping coolant corroded some of them. Get yourself a service manual and you'll be good to go.
