Since buying my 91 Vitara i have been thinking its way to slow and it won't rev above 4000rpm
if i'm on the highway doing 100kmh i am flat to the boards and up hills it just slows down and doesn't matter if i change down gears
yesterday i played with the vacuum secondaries and hooked up the intake vacuum just to check if it works
and it did work i can keep up with traffic now and rev to 5500rpm easy while still making power but manifold vacuum runs out on full throttle so that kind of defeats the purpose

so i am going to remove the carb and check the vacuum feed, maybe its blocked??
or i found a few vids on youtube on how to make the vacuum diaphram mechanical by reversing the spring

anyone else had issues like this?
