| Post subject: | vitara 2 litre ? |
Hi , I'm interested in upgrading to 1.6 vitara or 2.0 . So my question is what's better ? Can I use my 1.3 gearbox (for both motors?) Any input would be helpful. |

Zookernator did the G16A conversion and loves it, just like Joblow and many others ,my self included. Have a look at his thread, it's extremely comprehensive. As for the 2L ask Joblow hes had some experience with these motors.. Happy hunting. |

You'll be able to use your 1.3 gearbox with the 1.6 (adapter kit required) AFAIK there is no option to do that with the 2 litre. IMO the 2 litre would be a bit much for the 1.3 gearbox anyway. |

1.6 EFI or Carb will give your sierra all the balls it will ever need. |

whether youy go 1.6 or 2.0 litre its best to try use the vit box, freakin bullet proof. but if the effort to go 2.0 litre is the way, i would opt for the v6, not the 4 pot. |
