Righto guys I am in the process of sourcing parts for my little 94 SWB Vitara. After a few hard 4x4 trips and not much servicing (not to mention the previous owner) i'm left with four blown shocks, a cracked front diff housing and a 2nd hand drivers side front CV (works but looks like it might be leaking). It looks like im still running stock shocks/springs all round too.
I am running 31" muddies with plenty of clearance, looks like the previous owner has put two blocks ontop of the rear shocks to lift it (dodgy but it works a treat). Up until this point the mighty zook has performed very well and I am happy with its current set up. My question is: I have to replace the shocks anyway so should I look at going down the road of the commodore shocks/180sx springs for the rear (which would work best with my set up) and go OME struts/springs for the front or just keep it all stock. My next 4x4/hunting trip is on the 22nd so time is limited. Im going to call up some wreckers and try to chase down a front diff housing to replace the cracked one.
Also is there anywhere in Australia where I can get a diff bash plate or do I have to get one custom made, any links would be much appreciated too
Cheers guys!
