would there be any advantage to fit lwb brakes (vented front and drum rear )

to a swb vitara ? yes you get vented fronts
but ive noticed that the lwb rears are considerably larger

is it really worth the effort ??

Hey mate,

Ive fitted lwb brakes to my swb, and think its worth doing. Ive fitted larger tyres so cant have to much braking power. Ive kept the std drums tho. Its a very simple mod for decent gains.

I have the larger fronts. The LWB vented fronts are larger calipers (pots?) so more braking capacity. The vented discs shed heat better. Anecdotally I have heard complaints that the vents fill with mud that bakes in there, but, well.
No idea on the larger rears, we went to rear discs.
