Hi Guys has anyone used Danks 1 inch Wheel Spacers?

Yeah I had a set to run my xl7 wheels. They're really well made, I've never compared them to anything else but they did the job and I never had a wheel fall off.

Sounds like a customer whinging on a forum rather than having the conversation with the supplier.

Apparently mine were the only ones that were oval shaped
Nice way to waste $1500

Mine are still perfect to this day. Stop crying over spilt milk, take it elsewhere as it doesn't relate to the product in question.

Found him good to deal with until there was a problem then very difficult.
considering they probably come from the same thai machine shop id say its quite relevant

These spacers are from a different supplier.

How long did you run them for? Lots and LOTS of people are going to FROWN at this But I am going to take a CHANCE and run Dank's Wheel Spacers on my LJ :wink:

Ive had a wheel come off due to wheel spacers.

Didnt notice due to corrugations on the way home from 3 days of 4x4/camping, and fully laden. And bang a 3 wheeler.
Luckily it was a rear.
The drum backing plate chewed out.
Took ages to find the run away wheel, and jack the car up etc.
Took a couple of hours to get it back and running and i stopped and checked everything every 10 minutes.

They were promptly removed, when i got home.

It was a spacer from lror.

The spacer tore off the drum, the spacer was still bolted to the wheel.
The wheel nuts somehow loosened a little and then flogged the aluminium. The wheel nuts and studs then ripped out of the alloy.

I had my spacers on for a few months. They didn't see many kms. They survived an adventure tour fine though. I always intended on buying wheels with the correct back spacing it was just a way to use wheels I had.

I am using bolt on wheel spacers made-to-fit my PCD etc and have held up to everything very well!
I had to get extended wheel studs and fit them then shave them down to the right length to make them flush and haven't had one issue with fitment, rattling whilst the handling of Burnouts, launching over sand dunes hard cornering etc.
Mine are billet alloy. Loctite is recommended but also note that these aren't legal here in WA. Got mine for about $500. Danks look nice as mine are just the silver colour and stand out more which isn't the best when getting pulled over.
I found that with my lift, the spacers have helped my turning alot. Just easier to corner.
