Hiya all,so I'm in the process of playing with my air intake in my m18a jimny as the factory airbox and intake pipe is very restrictive. I have ordered a liana airbox and intake pipe which should arrive this week sometime and I was wondering if anyone has done this or maybe a pod filter would work out easier to install? I should mention that I am not a serious off-roader,maybe the occasional dirt track or beach driving, just love suzis and want it to breathe better. And I am well aware of paper over k&n style filters but if I cannot get the liana airbox to fit in the jimny and adapt the AFM also,I will have to consider another option. Any thoughts appreciated. |

With a bit of luck I'll have mine done this weekend. Plan A is to see how well the Liana box will fit in the space, it'll still need some mods as the inlet is in the wrong place and the outlet has no sensor mount (different sensor I'll get pics as I go Suzuki, way of life |

Awesome mate, you are facing the same challenges I have been looking at,I hope to do mine this weekend also but seeing as the wrecker in Perth only posted my parts today,I'm doubtful I will have them by Friday. Shit happens. I found a 3inch airflow sensor mount online and Autobarn also has them...this may help in mounting the AFM???? |
