New to forum and Suzuki Vitaras so when i went to look at DBA Rotors for my Car i Found 2 thickness's 10 mm (standard) and 17 mm both say for my vehicle and i was wondering how do i know how wide my callipers will take?

Or has anyone else tried either, the 10mm look so small on the vehicle now and does a wider disc improve baking?

Cheers.

Carby Swb use a 10mm thick solid rotor. LWB use a ventilated rotor. (EFI Swb may also use the ventilated rotor, hence the two entries.

You can't swap to the ventilated rotor without swapping the callipers to suit.
The ventilated rotors and callipers are quite sought after as an upgrade for sierras running big tyres.

I've got a 1990 swb vitara soft top with the 1.6 carby engine. I'm running the long wheel base front brake rotors (17mm) brake pads, and callipers if you can find a set of LWB from Brake callipers I highly recommend swapping over to them.

I found the braking was better than the standard swb (10mm) discs and pads.

The other good thing is, they are a straight bolt on swap
