Post subject:  sierra sj50 alternator removal

trying to remove my alt but dosn,t seem to have a bolt at the bottom rather it seems to have a pressed pin and like a cradel bolted to the block instead.It is loose so need to fix.any help appreciated

Should be two bolts on the bottom.
The nuts are easy to access with a 12mm spanner. One front, one back.

Can get very good/easy access from under car with plastic cowl removed, or from the top with airbox removed.

there defiantly are no bolts underneath .looks like its in a cradle.of some sort.it is all factory as have had for 22 years and has never had new alternator

ok so found why it looks like a pin the bolt heads had sheard off.problem solved.thanks for advise
