Hi guys my name is Jason and I own a GV diesel 08 it has a dobinson lift ... I've noticed what I think is the down travel of my front wheels when going over a speed bump for example, there would be a loud knock. Has anyone experienced this? It's really bugging me. Thanks for your replies
I have the same problem with a Dobinsons lift in my 2013 GV. The guy at Dobinsons in Sydney said this is normal - something to do with the way the struts work. I did a post a little while back about vibration noise in the suspension on badly corrugated roads - I would be interested to know how your suspension is performing.

Well I'm about to head on a trip to the Flinders in a couple of weeks. I've had a 4wd suspension workshop look at it and they couldn't find anything wrong. They checked all the components... And everything seemed to be in order except for the bushes but I just got to keep an eye on them.
I do have a ironman bash plate and it was recommended to me to remove it and see if it still happens. I just haven't gotten around to it yet
