Post subject:  Can you remove the side 'two tone' section from a 1999 GV?
As the title says, can you remove the silver two tone panels and would it look atrocious? I want my GV to look less family wagon and a bit more 4wd..

You can, but it leaves loads of little square and round holes all over the body.

Damn, I'm not big on the silver on blue.. I guess the holes would be from all the clips?

Yep holes are from all the clips.

Best bet is to just paint them mate if you don't like the two tone. The silver paint on the plastics of my old GV was in a terrible condition, so I colour coded them myself to match the car. Only cost a couple of hundred in materials and a whole lot of elbow grease.
