Hi guys... kind of new here... reads alot but i dont write much. i have a m/t 2007 jimny, with m13a vvt which i like to swap to m15a from a Suzuki Swift. i have read the swaps main post but still couldnt find enough info about it. from what i could find i see its the easiest swap... only engine and injectors? what about the ECU? other sensors? what about the intake/exhaust manifolds? if anypne made this swwap and can help me with the details i'll appreciate it very much. thanks in advance |

It is essentially the same as the m18a swap -use the m15a injectors -all other sensors are fine -jimny ecu will run it -also remember vvt to vvt only Haven't done it myself but maybe go through the thread again there was at least one person from memory |

Yes I did the M18a swap and used the M18A injectors and throttle body, runs well, more grunt than the 1.5,also the 1.8 can be dearer to buy depending on where you source it from, and mines legal here is South Australia. It was a straight forward swap over only changing the sump, oil pickup, rocker cover and oil filter mount. Yeeeha |

greenzook89 wrote: it does'nt really helps cause its talks mainly about the m18a swap. is there anyone here who made the swap for m15a and can say that the m13a intake and exhaust fits? as well as all the sensors, the ECU doesnt need mapping? the m13a vvt wire fits the m15a wiring? |

the m series swaps are all the same. the m16 is the least done on here. the m15 was the most popular untill 2 years ago. |

As above^^ you will find that the intake and exhaust will mate up to the M15A,just use standard jimny sensors,i did that with mine and its running well and thats with the standard jimny ECU. |

Thats great news everyone! thank alot... and how is it? does it give the slow Jimny a little spank in the back and helps it to stay 100 KPH on the highway? is it reliable? |

M18a is great, I can over take etc. Have heard the m15a is still a good upgrade just not as good as the m18 |
