Ok I have a 2001 Suzuki grant vitara with a g16b engine. It runs fine but sometimes when it gets hot it will not start, Pop the bonnet let it sit for 5 and away it goes no problem. This points to cam position sensor failing but the thing is that it is not logging a code for the failure. Can anyone tell me is that correct? Or will it always log a code for that sensor failing?
