I'm going to be changing my 4:3 gearing to 4:8 gearing and I just wanted to make sure that the 4:8 ring and pinion will bolt straight to the 4:3 centre? Or will I. Need 4:8 centres to fit them? Cheers |

From GV (SQ) and SV The 4.8 ring will bolt to the center from the 4.3. The pinions drop in but the pinion height will need to be checked and shimmed if necessary. Same deal for either end. The only exception are diffs from the rear of an XL7 as they are physically larger (not sure on ratio so may not be an issue for you. 4.3/5.12? http://www.auszookers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=44910) |

Yes. A good diff shop will be able to do that for you. You may want to put a call out for recommended diff workshops in WA that other Auszookers have used. |
