| Post subject: | Tail shaft balance |
Hey fellow zookers while changing my gearbox mount today i noticed a uni on the tailshaft is in some ordinary shape (actually quite bad) n i dnt want to risk driving it. Until i can get the uni changed i was thinking about ripping the tail shaft off the missus zook while its just sitting in the driveway but im unsure if itll be unbalanced or what not. Iv never dealt with a driveshaft be4 and iv just been told to put it back on the same way uve taken it off. Any help is appreciated. |

She will be right mate. Aslong as they are both the same shaft and the other is in good condition it should run true. |

just mark both ends of the shaft with a paint pen / scratch it etc so you put the splines back in in exactly the same spot. |
