Hi all.
I have noticed the last couple days that my clutch is slipping a bit when in 4th gear. Only seams to be in 4th haven't noticed it in any other gear.
What's the most likely cause of this?
It's a 90 jlx vitara.

Thanks
Tyler

Worn out clutch

But just for shits and giggles, check cable free play at the bellhousing

Last time i had this happening it was the gearbox seal leaking oil into the bell housing, which eventually wet the clutch. It was only noticeable at higher RPM in higher gears, then eventually got worse and worse.

I have same problem.

First fix was the cable was to tight and fixed it but a few days later it started slipping so I think its my clutch.

I will check for oil in bell housing before new clutch
