I have the original books still in the dealer wallet for a 92 Sierra. I was looking through it while waiting to collect my auto locker and noticed these

Has anyone come across factory transfer or tank guards?
I would like the LSD for my front diff.

Don't think my bald head would enjoy the targa top

I don't ever recall seeing either on an Australian delivered car.
The tank guards were common (standard?) in the US market.

The limited slip differential was to suit the rear only.

The parts in that catalogue look to be a mix of USDM and JDM parts. Most sierras received locally sourced accessories which were much cheaper than those parts.

Steve.

Steve, why the LSD rear only, can be up front ?
I scored a front ARB airlocked front diff, put it in the rear.

Because it will be for 26 spline. Finding compatible 22 spline LSD side gears will be impossible.
I guess you could swap to 26 spline front axles but that's throwing good money after bad if you only want a front LSD- you're not doing terrain that requires the HD front axles and you're not putting torque through them.
