Hi guys,
My Vitara just jammed up over the weekend. Pulled it outside to go for a ride, everything sounded normal. Switched it off, came back to start it and the starter was just spinning, could not turn the motor. Motor is solid as a rock now. What the hell ? Cant turn it by hand, can't running start it either - wheels just lock up. Checked the timing belt, looks good and in tact.
Any ideas where to start looking before i have to pull it apart would be much appreciated.
M8 if u cant start it ,,turn it over out of gear by hand and it just locks up when trying to clutch it.. i would say its had it might just get a 2nd hand motor from wreckers

Hi Damagera, I tried to turn it over by hand (out of gear), but no go. Also, don't want to spend much on it as it is such an old motor. How much do you reckon another motor would cost me ?
