Has anyone got inlet gaskets from the 8 valve and 16 valve that they could overlay? Is it mainly the bolt pattern that is different or are all the ports different. I think it's a bit of wishful thinking but worth asking. |

The multi-point EFi's have an additional cut out at the top for the injector. Not sure about the carby or TBi's. |

Yeah, the reason I ask is that I was going to weld up some bosses to make my 8 valve tbi into a multi-point. More of a "doing it for the hell of it" project rather than a smart one. It gets me out of a bodylift pretty much. Anyway I was thinking if the ports were close I could get the flange off a spare 8 valve manifold I have welded to a 16 valve manifold. Then I wouldn't have to play around making a custom fuel rail etc. |

get a manifold from a 1.6 tbi swift or an import high pressure carb 1.6 16 valve manifold. |
