I bought a secondhand set of 5 RT03s about 4-5 years ago. I still drive on the last 3 remaining good ones from the set they are 8 years old now.

As far as mud tyres go they are nothing special.

However, good handling in the wet, great mileage, the sizing is slightly oversize and they're cheaply priced.

This may be a subjective thing but I had them mixed with some BFG MTs of the same age for a while and on the same vehicle the RT03s seemed to fare better (BFGs seemed to get a lot of sidewall damage (why 2 of them had to go) and only puncture I had was an unpatcheable gash in between tread blocks on a BFG whereas the RT03 on the other axle never had a problem).

I run the RT03 on the coily. (235/75R15)

Admitedly, I got them way cheap, brand new, so the decision to try was pretty easy, but I'm happy with them.
Only reason I went with the RT03 was because the RF10 weren't on special, but on a zook, even M/T's will do 100,000 k's, so meh.

I have the Dynapro MT on my GV (in 225/75/16). They drive fine on the highway, but are fairly noisy (compared to an AT). Also get a fair bit of tread squirm, but I don't think you'll avoid that with mud tyres!

I have the RT03 in 215/75/15 and have absolutely no complaints about them. In fact I am going to put the RF10's on my Land Rover as well. I think the Hankooks are great value and an under rated tyre.

Take a look at pricing on Kumho KL71. I rate them much higher than BFG KM2. I've not driven dynapros but have seen them in use and they appear to go OK but not as voidy as the KM2 or KL71 so probably a better summer tyre and not as good in mud?

i have the dynapro mts in 215/75 on my jimny, very happy with them. hardly any road noise at all, great traction & barely appear to be wearing at all.

If the 2nd set were either 31"+, easily identifiable as illegal, bias ply or soft compound then a second set of rims would be understandable.

The reality is very few people have 2 sets of rims and would actually swap them every time they want to go offroading.

I got new rims for my MTs and I think I have only had the originals back on once. They look pretty stupid on the car with the lift after having the slightly bigger ones on. the Hankooks handle fine in all conditions so are very good for daily driving.

only negative i've suffered with the hankooks is being larger the car took a hit to its ability to hold >100kph & acceleration. it went from being very zippy to being quite a slug.

What size you step up to? Was it 215's with the g13 engine?

also will I get any scrub out of the 215/75 r15 M/T with standard bumpers? mostly weekend warrior!

might use the stock rims, but yer a few bucks for the tyres will off set the cranky wife Armsup
