Comfort in a Sierra is more about air and sound leaks in the cab, poor door fit, rattles, blocked heater etc. I run recaros in mine. They're excellent. |

They're fairly exxy- look for second hand ones, even very old ones can be serviced by Recaro. |

Gti Swift are fairly easy to fit. |

Yeh might look for swift ones. Are they straight bolt in? And I presume same vintage swift ie mid 80s? |

They require two holes to be drilled in the rail. The late GTi swift seats (and Baleno GTx) are quite nice. I'm not that big a fan of the earlier GTi seats- they're lightly built and will be over 20 years old now. Most will be pretty sat out. |

They are apparently quite an easy fit but suffer from a similar fate as early GTi seats- they’re very lightly constructed and don’t last well. Old OEM seats are hugely variable in quality. I’ve just had to weld repair the structure of the drivers seat in the fg XR6 I’ve just bought and both driver and passenger seats are suffering from collapsing foam. This is at <10 years old and 135k. It’s getting the Recaro’s out of my Sierra as soon as it’s gone through registration. Just becuase a seat used to be good doesn’t mean it’s still good 20 years later. |

Thanks Gwagensteve, I hear ya, We replace Falcon drivers seats at work all the time, getting hard to find good second hand ones. Can't find GTi or Baleno GT seats, so looking at other options. Its for my mates hunting rig, so vinyl or leather would be the go to wipe mud etc off easily. |

S13 Silvia/180sx seats. They sat really nicely, were comfortable and easy to get hold of, I think I paid $40 for the pair. |

I have baleno seats in both my Sierras. One of each type and I'm fairly happy with both, much more comfortable than many aftermarket seats. I've been wanting to find a nice set of oem seats for my tintop as it just has normal baleno seats, but i haven't found the right ones yet. |

Anyone find the GTI seating position with standard sierra mounts and rails too high? Doesn't leave a hell of a lot of head room. Just fitted a set to my LWB and now remember why I cut the floor mounts out of my SWB and slammed the seats almost to the floor |
