So over break i got the body lift in and fitted the tires. Cut the inner front guards and fitted flares and a snorkel. Latter was pretty dodgy shapewise so took some work to fit.

Took my first trip.with me driving a forby near home around the snowies near tumbarumba and around blowering dam.

Was surprised at how capable it was with a newbie driver. The other cars were a patrol and a jeep.

At the end we did a long limb in stages was 45 on the map it would be a bit more in spots. In one section the jeep had three goes due to traction it keep slippi g sideways. So we ready to winch mine but it just drove straight up.

Credit to a good spotter and the vitara morw than me for sure. The jeep was on ATs but still was very impressed.



Only hassle was tearing up the guards and flares a bit.

This is the bit the two other cars had mpre trouble with. You cant see.how steepnot is nut oh well.

It is on the batlow side of blowering near the power lines.

I knew it alread which is why i got the suzy but good feeling to have it demonstrated.

Only real annoyance was finding - should not hav been surprised based on recent discussions - tires at 45psi after getting a sore spine first day. Yes Jax knew it was for a vitara. Different car dropping to mid 20s and then to 15 on the climb of course....

well done on first trip frak, i think you have been bitten by the suzuki bug.

Could even go lower off road, I have found 8-12 psi works best for my 30's , lower starts to drop a little to much height for the traction gain for me.
Though it is amazing how well they do go once your in the low single didgets.
