Please don't think I'm being dismissive, but have you done a search? In the "good tech" section there are a number of threads about G16B conversions, including a thread specifically about upgrading a G13BB Jimny to G16B. We have no idea about your skill level, budget, or access to tools, space or experience. Please don't try and explain all those things in your reply. Research as hard as you can. If you then have specific questions about an element of the job or a tool required, for instance, that hasn't been covered in the threads you've read, then by all means ask that question - you'll get a helpful reply.

AZ is a fantastic resource there's a 95% chance all your questions will be answered.

As to whether it's worth it? Well, the G16B adds a flatter and fuller torque curve, so yes, it is a real upgrade over the G13. It's not a transformation though - it's only incremental. It's not a solution for a heavily overloaded car or incorrect gearing.

Steve.
