Anyone know what kind of hoops I'll have to jump through to get my rego swapped back to SA from NT?

I had the car registered there a couple of years ago. I'm hoping it will be $26 for new plates and $30 to get the numbers checked like it was to change it to the NT, but I doubt it.

Will I have any dramas with the 50-60mm lift?

Go to motor reg fill out paperwork get number plates & pay for SA rego.... No inspection, No numbers check, then get a refund on your NT rego. Collect $200 & pass go!

I did it a few years ago, I had the car yard rego my zook in Mexico with a SA licence & address so when I got it back to Adelaide all I had to do was change it over, it's was easy & painless but you will end up with the gay new number plates.

Was thinking about going personalised plates until I saw the price, what a load of shit!

arent the limited personalised plates only like 200 bucks once off?

dunno if you'll need to do the police check, might only be for changing owners only like 30 bucks, but go to motor reg or servicesa as they like to be called and fill in the paperwork

Yeah, but then you've got an annual renewal fee of $200 as well

I'm used to the NT where it is 40 bucks or something similar for personalised plates.

Cost me $26 and a trip around 3 witches hats to get my motorbike license

Personalized are 180 once off! didnt think they'd changed it, cos i've had mine for 5 years and never paid an annual fee!
If you want custom plates then you get an annual fee

So you have to pay $200 a year so that you don't need to have a number on the end of you plate?!?

If I have 'SUZUKI' I pay $200 a year, If I have 'SUZUK1' I don't. Makes perfect sense to me
