Need some help deciding what to do with the rear suspension of the gv. I will be running 10in shocks 50/50 travel. Car needs to be able to handle good at speed and in the rocks. Im going to be running around 3in lift ao i need to do something about the bad link geometry. Should i be lazy and just lift all the brackets up on the diff 2-3in or should i go all out and move the body mount up out of the way and put some longer patrol links in there. Shortor links are less likely to get hung up on but suck climbing as they end up on some realy bad angles when at the ends of travel. What do people think i should do Cars getting engineered and he doesnt want the bolt of the lower links above the bottem of the diff tube because of the increase of force it puts on the brackets |

Lifting the brackets on the diff will still be a change the suspension geometry compared to stock and not in a good way. Are you allowed to change the wheel base? Depending on what tyre size you're chasing I'd be pushing the diff back at least 3 inches and designing a conventional 3 or 4 link. |

Diff will only be going back about 1-2in as im only going to run 33. Im droping the front down about 62mm so should i keep the panhard bar low to get away from the masive roll center difference like the vit has . Or is that not that much of a problem as gwagon makes out to be ? I could build a 3 link mount off the vit center like gwagon did . I only have 10in travel so the bind in a 5link will not be that bad |

So you will have a 3 inch (76.2mm) lift in the rear and lower the front 62mm? Going for a gangsta look?  Not following on what "front" you're dropping? Keeping the roll center in the same area throughout the suspension travel does make the car more predictable. |

Droping the front arms and diff down on the chassis so it they sit level at ride height but the chassis is 62mm higher . Like a lux is stock . |

Oh- yes, that's going to mess with roll axis and induce oversteer. |

Thats what i thought thats y i think keeping the panhard rod or even lowering the chassis end would keep them close to the same height. A 4 link what put them at a massive difference in height |
