Hi all Just put a snorkel on my sj50 and will be driving through puddles...any tips on making electronics water proof? So I don't stop in the middle of said puddle. Cheers! |

WD40 , RP7 , INNOX ect on your electrics if you must go in puddles |

Don't drive into a puddle that's deeper than you're willing to have inside the car. |

Best tip is to avoid every puddle deeper than the hubs if at all possible, and even the shallow ones if there's a simple way round. Your everything (bearings, brakes, bushes, clutch...) will thank you. |

Yep. The electrics are the short term problem. The increased maintenance on everything else is the long term problem. |
