Anyone know of a reputable A/C shop in Brisbane? My GV is 11 years old and 42,000km never had work done on the A/C, the light occasionally flashes on the A/C button, still works OK but I suspect the gas needs a top up? Still seems to be quite cold though. IF I was home in Rocky, no problem but don't know any shops in Brisbane. Cheers, Jack.. |

If the reason for the question is the flashing a/c button - a regas will probably not solve that - the flashing a/c button indicates that the BCM has detected an a/c related problem, usually a stuck actuator or similar issue. Find someone with a copy of the FSM, there should be a way to get the BCM to flash the failure code on the a/c light. |

Thanks for the heads up on that, yes the light flashes occasionally but I don't think the compressor is dropping in and out. I THINK I may have my workshop CD on my PC I have with me, need to check......... Would not surprise me if it needed gas after 11 years, but I do run the A/C up every 3 months when the car is not being used much. Cheers, Jack. |
