looking at a couple of LJs, one i know to be a 550cc LJ50 hardtop, but another has come up that's an LJ 2 stroke 2 cylinder but the engine is seized.

if it's a 2 cylinder, what is the likely CCs of the engine ?? what are the odds of finding another, or swapping to a 550cc or similar if no other choice ?

i'd also guess it's not an LJ50, would it potentially be an LJ20 ???

thanks for any info on the car.

Here is an owner's manual for the LJ50/50K from LJ10.com:

I hope that this helps!

easy way to tell is lj50 and lj80 have parker lights on the front panel. lj20 only have indicators no parkers

going to hopefully go & look at it tonight, will post some photos.

been reading about LJ20s online, here's a fully restored one from the US from feb 2015, no parkers like you said:

then there's this guy on gumtree from WA with parkers, guessing he may have fiddled a bit there;

looks like at some point in its life its had an early 3 bolt front clip put on it.

I could be wrong but as far as I was aware they didn't have parkers

My lj20 has parkers. May be a different front clip put on at some stage.

Late LJ20s had the parkers on the front clip. It seems just about all of them in W.A are yellow and that style.

2cyls are 360cc and there's virtually no chance of finding a good second hand motor, even if you looked for years.

LJ20s are completely different mechanically to 50s and 80s so sourcing parts will likely be a total nightmare. LJ20s weren't sold here officially but some were imported for farming ect. They're extremely rare.
