| Post subject: | M Series Engine Info |
I have been searching for information on Suzuki engine configurations that are sold in different market areas. I have a 2015 Jimny but, here in the Philippines, the engine is a non VVT M13. I think that is likely true of India and Pakistan also…..not sure. With the probability of upgrading my engine in the future, (M16a non VVT) I would like to ask if anyone on the forum has ever found a relatively detailed resource for worldwide Suzuki specifications. Any help is appreciated. Bob |

Have a search for 'factory service manual'. Usually it shows up a pdf in decent quality. Its what the suzuki dealers use for reference |

Thanks 31zook. I already have the Jimny manual and it covers VVT and non-VVT engines. I would suspect that the manuals for the other Suzuki models would do the same to cover various market areas. I suspect that the SX4 came to the Philippines with a non-VVT M16 while most of the markets were getting the VVT version but I can't confirm. Either way, thanks. You're suggestion did give me an idea. |
