About to pull the box from my 99 v6 grand vitara to do the rear main seal and clutch. Are there any little mods or other maintenance I should do while it's out? Thanks Sam |

Have the flywheel machined |

Drill holes in the baffles in the rocker cover, stops the oil getting sucked out the breather |

Scrawn, do you think that may be the reason I have oil everywhere not the rear main seal? |

No, it just causes the engine to burn oil.... smokey and chews through oil. I'd replace rocker cover gaskets before rear main seal |
