Fitted a transfer with a kong mount and it must have moved the box slightly back as the stick boot puts a bit more tension on the stick and makes it pop back out of low 4. Works fine with the boot removed and is not touching the body at all, its just the rubber boot causing the issues. Apart from cutting the boot is there any other boot I can use that is slightly bigger or more flexible. I dont really want to cut it to let in more noise and heat.

cheers

Mine did that on the SJ410 farm bomb. I ditched the rubber boot and made one out of black felt. Its not the prettiest thing but you barely notice it.

Might work upside down I reckon and at least you still get the benefit of it closing up the hole proper

It's simple enough to bend the stick slightly to get it to it more centered on the hole.

Or hammer around the opening of the hole in the top of the tunnel to give more space for the boot to bunch up more.

The boot sits inside the car and bolts to the floor, might end up bending the stick I think
