So after using my Calmini kit for 6 months (regular 'hard' offroad use) the bushings have started to split on the trailing arms. I can see why they are splitting, and its due to their shoulder design. The arm chops into the bush under full flex and this results in a neat cut around the bush, with the shoulder hanging off. I don't know if anyone else has had a similar problem, but I can't see replacement bushings helping out here. The Calmini trailing arms aren't really anything special anyway, they're kinked for extra clearance and minimally longer thats about it. On the snake racing website there are "Mogs" trailing arms. I assume this is snakes own brand. It looks like from other pictures of them, that they're a threaded arm with creeper joints on each end. At $350 a pair it seems pretty inexpensive so was wondering if anyone has tried them? |
