hi all, the vitara i bought my wife has got cracking in the top tank. anyone used the reasonably cheap ebay jobs?

they seem to range from $88 to $285.. a few aluminium ones in there as well (though i am not keen on ebay aluminium radiators from previous experience).

they all look the same to me, surely there isn't that much difference in the quality of these?

cheers.

Quality will vary with some brands, i can vouch that these are the exact same radiators going into your large radiator specialist shops. Warranty is a must, if your worried about an online seller alot of auto stores like Supercheap and Autobarn can order these in for you from a supplier in each state. Usually warranty would be warranted if you have a shop fit the radiator and have the system flushed. If your just after the cheapest possible fix you can buy one of these and fit yourself.

i do all my own mechanics. haven't paid for mechanical work for many years.

just thought someone here might have purchased a replacement via ebay and found it to be of decent make. heck from 88 to 200 plus they are probably all made in the same factory! haha..

thanks.

^^ bought a $90 eBay jobbie for my Sierra. Was fantastic and lined up like it should of. Quality is what you'd expect for that price, but it's not the worst I've seen. Next radiator I need I'll be getting another eBay one. Plus they offered me 2 year warranty on it also.
