Hey guys, new to the forum, had my zook for only a few months and due to oil leaking / dripping, it was diagnosed as the main rear seal and got it replaced. For 3 weeks no oil on the gearbox or dripping oil... until last weekend.

So back to the mechanic, and said they'd have to pull it all down again to check if its the main rear seal again or the cap seal needs replacing.

Does this sound right? If its the cap seal they've quoted $520 - parts $80 and labour $440.

My Coily was diagnosed as rear main seal but in fact was the distributer housing, they all leak there eventually and oil drops down under rear of motor, check that first.

Me neither. I'd also be looking at the dizzy housing. Make sure it's not coming from there.
