Evening all...

Just picked up my first Jimny... Got myself a 2007 Jimny Sport Manual. I am wanting to do the M18A upgrade as I do a fair few highway k's in hilly country and the little 1.3 is working hard and struggling to maintain speed.

Are there any dramas with getting these engineered (NSW) with the M18? I had read somewhere that it was easier to get the pre 2008 models engineered due to change in emission controls after 2008 (Euro 3 - Euro 4 or something)... Can anyone shed some light on whether this is the case?

I have seen stories of Jimnys with a supercharger slapped on the M13 to give it a bit more torque... Purely out of curiosity (and I may be entering "w@nk factor" territory), has anyone put a supercharger on an M18 in a Jimny?

CHIPTORQUE in qld supercharge jimnys I got my piggyback ECU from them and that's called a XEDE,my jim needed it as it was overfuelling with the 1.8 still using the 1.3 factory ECU but now it's friggn awesome
