Just a couple of little questions that dont seem to be covered anywhere in the write ups.
1. When using the jimny manifold on the baleno block there is nowhere to brace the top of the alternator bracket to. Do people simple leave it off of fab up something. The jimny manifold has nowhere to bolt the alt brace in ?
2. A/c bracket, what exactly needs to be done to fit it to the baleno block or am i using the baleno bracket. I have read something about grinding but thats it ?

If anyone has any pics to chuck up that would be very much appreciated. Cheers

I had to fab up some drop plates, 3mmx 25mm flat bar, for the AC and PS pump as the threaded bosses on the block are further apart. I think I picked up the lower bosses and made the drop plates to length for the top ones.

I don't recall there being an issue with the alternator bracket. I had the EF alt and a custom brace tensioner though.

This was in 2012 so memory is a bit sketchy on exact details. I had to wing it a bit at that stage and it added a day and half to the swap.

Bit hard to see but it looks like the alternator brace is off one of the water pump bolts behind the top dipstick bracket.

Yeah thats the option i was looking at, pretty straight forward just wasnt sure what the done thing was. Will chuck up some pics when i bodge something up
