I'm thinking about putting an M18A in my 2007 Jimny and was curious about extractors. Would I be looking fro extractors to suit the M13A (Jimny) or M18A (Liana)?
Does anyone have a link for a good set of extractors that would be suitable for the M18A in the Jimny? I have heard RedBack mentioned...
Cheers

I have a M18A in my 2012 jim and I got them to suit the M13A because the exhaust ports are the same size and mine are Wildcat headers from fleabay and I got them for $240 about a year ago, they fit very well.

Nah not here in SA,I had to apply in writing or via email to regency and after 5 weeks they got back to me and said go for it but I had to have an inspection afterwards and she passed without a problem,it was quite painless actually.

Has anyone had any issues installing extractors on a jimny with the cat in the manifold?
I have a 2015 jimny and have had mixed responses from different exhaust shops.

if the o2 sensor is mounted too far out of the exhaust flow you can run rich or lean. happens on the Chinese extractors http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 55576.htmlgotta grind down the O2 sensor flange to get the sensor in a bit further

Mine has a Cat in the manifold which I have been told won't work by multiple exhaust places now. Seems they are all good up till 2012. After that it is an issue!

Yes mine also had a cat in the standard manifold, I went to Midas and they did it for me but I also went to a few different places before I found an exhaust shop that would do it for me,persevere mate you may just find someone who will do it for you

I seriously doubt there is any difference between your standard manifold and the manifold I had, both are pre cat manifolds, quite common but not needed

I will have had a look around but it seems that the 2012 didn't have a cat in the manifold. Unless someone has some hard proof for the 2013 + extractors I am not going to be the guinie pig!

I actually saw the cat in my manifold when it was taken off the car so I can verify that mine did indeed have a manifold cat as well. I hope this helps
