Hi I've got a 1993 lwb vitara JLX and i bought a UHF radio to install. The UHF itself is just smaller than than the radio and I cant think of anywhere to install it.
Ideas and photos would be really appreciated!

Vet rid of the clock and cig socket and put it there.

My plan for the it is a tiny one between those. Oricom is about 5mm too 2id3 for the ash tray hole there will cut it a bit.

On top of the dash with a mounting bracket.

On the roof with a telephone extention for the microphone coming out down by the gear stick.

What i forgot to say before about under the radio: pull the bottom surrounds off and you will see fitting a full size radio is simple enough if you are okay with moving the cig socket and checking the clock.

What brand if you can get a remote head then mount it anywhere.

I had mine on the centre console.
