A few possible reasons Catalytic converter stuffed Tyres are too big without gearing Carby probs, maybe blocked jets Low compression/head gasket Ignition timing Valve clearances Old fuel Fuel filters Fuel pump fouled spark plugs Realistically it can be anything. Have you any or much mechanical knowledge? What have you already tried? Start by getting a service manual or Gregory's workshop manual, start at the top of the list in 'troubleshooting' and work from there. |

More importantly, low on power compared to what? What were you driving previously? What size tyres are fitted? |

The OP's profile says SJ410V 1985. Is it a 1L engine? |
